Ethnic Influence

Ethnic influences have been a hit trend among fashion designers and seem to be trickling down from the runways onto the streets. From the most popular chandelier earrings to kimono-inspired clothes, all of which had been repeated for more than one season. I think that by incorporating regular western wear with an ethnic inspired apparel, it has the ability to make an outfit look very unique without drawing negative attention onto yourself. A hit style that has been the trend among the majority of teens for nearly three years is behemian. Fashioned by Nicole Richie, Mary-Kate, and Ashley Olsen, teens look to Free People and Nanette Lepore for a laid back behemian look. I, personally, love this trend!
